Employee Spotlight: Patrick Tuffield

Every month we ask a member of the Laser Central team to take a moment out of their busy workday to answer some questions about themselves. This month we spoke to young Patrick (Patty) Tuffield. Here’s what he had to say.

How long have you been working at Laser Central?

Two years roughly.

Do you have a New Year’s resolution for 2019?

I don’t really have one. I just keep doing what I’m doing and get better at it as I go.

What do you like to do in your down time?

I’m learning guitar. That probably should have been my answer for the new year’s resolutions question.

What’s your favourite band or musician?

MGMT. Their stuff is really chill and electric at the same time if that makes sense.

What’s the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

Talk care of your money and don’t spend it like crazy. Save everything you got.

If you could have dinner with one person in the world who would it be?

Samuel Jackson. He’s just such a character. I’ve seen all the Tarantino films he’s in. You couldn’t be bored with him around I don’t think.

If you could have any superpower what would it be?

Invisibility. I could just walk into any bank and get loads of money. I mean it would be a bit weird when they see these bags floating in the air but who are they going to arrest? 

If you were an animal what would you be?

I’d probably be an octopus. They can change colours. They’re just weird like me.

What is your favourite food?

Probably McDonald’s. I really like the double quarter pounder a lot. I mean they’re not really healthy but you don’t go to fast food to get good food.

What’s your opinion on Hungry Jack’s?

I’ve only been there once. I don’t like the chips. I don’t like the burgers. I don’t think the burgers are better at Hungry Jack’s.

What do you like about working at Laser Central?

The job can be difficult but the people are really easy for the most part. That makes everything else a lot easier. You can go to people and they’re willing to help.
