If you own a business you’ll appreciate the importance of a well-positioned, properly equipped premises. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be operating from a brand new, state-of-the-art location.
It’s official, the relocation has begun, and the excitement is escalating. Our first new machinery arrived on the 6th of August, well in time for the official opening of our new space on the 30th of September.
Talking to the current status of the move, our General Manager Philip Smith said the shift is officially in full swing, and the Laser Central workshop is buzzing with anticipation.
“We’re currently ordering new furniture and having interior features such as flooring and amenities fitted. The first machine has also been installed, and we’re in the process of laying out additional racking for all workshop materials,” Mr Smith said.
There are many steps involved when moving any business, no matter what the industry, and it’s important to plan a process that does not impede productivity. As is often the case with large scale relocations, Mr Smith says that we do foresee a few challenges ahead of us, but believes we should be able to tackle each issue with ease.
“Despatch consolidations, grouping production from two separate sites to one delivery location, may be tricky to handle, but by planning ahead thoroughly we’re hoping we won’t encounter any dramas. We understand that the timing of machine relocation is also key, and will be orchestrating these moves as seamlessly as we can so as to not interrupt workflow,” Mr Smith said.
Interfacing with couriers and delivery drivers on where to go and at what time is also going to be a fulltime job in the month ahead, but thanks to expert planning we’re confident we have everything under control, and can’t wait to commence trading at our new address.
“We’re looking forward to being in close proximity to production support, and are happy that our new locations allows the space for sales and programming to operate alongside one another. This will greatly enhance the speed of transition from a bare block of land to a sustainable production environment,” Mr Smith said.
Most importantly, we’re excited to report that our clientele will benefit greatly from the move. Once we’re settled in at our new location, our customers will be treated to an even more superior client experience thanks to better lead times, new state-of-the-art machinery, increased capabilities, and reduced times for collecting finished goods.
