Laser Central helps ADE tear through the Road Boss Rally 2019

If you’ve worked with us before, you probably know how passionate we are about supporting companies in their efforts to give back to our local community.

This year Laser Central sponsored Australian Diversified Engineering (ADE) to take part in Road Boss Rally 2019. An annual adventure style motoring event set in the heart of the Australian bush, the rally invites each participant to nominate and raise money for their charity of choice.

This year Laser Central sponsored and supported ADE to participate in the rally to raise money for GIVIT, a national not-for-profit that works to alleviate poverty in Australia.

General Managing Director of ADE Clive Gray completed the RBR route with his son Matthew in a Holden Crewman Cross 8. Speaking to their involvement in the event, Mr Gray said that the journey would not have been possible without the help of sponsors such as Laser Central.

“Matthew and I had an awesome journey, 4500kms one instruction at a time. We ended up 14th overall and second in our class. In the end we raised $26,315, making us the second highest fundraisers overall. The car ran flawlessly and we were never stuck in any of the stages, even in areas where some of the larger 4WDs could not get through, the mighty Crewman never let us down,” Mr Gray said.

This year RBR took the ADE team into the heart of the Australian outback, on an adventure that definitely put the fun in fundraising.

Each year the Road Boss Rally raises and donates over $250,000.00 to charity and Laser Central were proud to play a part in helping ADE contribute to this year’s grand total by supplying funds to help them on their journey.

When reporting back on the outcome of the day, Mr Gray passed on the heartfelt thanks of GIVIT founder Juliette Wright, who said that the charity is now able to continue to support people within communities Australia wide due to the funds raised.

“I told her as a team we were very humbled to be involved with such a great cause and that we would be back next year bigger and better. Thank you all for your support without you this would not be possible,” Mr Gray said.

As proud sponsors of the local team, Laser Central would like to congratulate ADE once again for such a wonderful result.
